Imagine your dog is lost desperately searching for you...And then a kind human comes across you pup. "Hey Buddy are you lost?" The human wants to help but they are late for work (again) and don't have time to take your pup to a vet to be scanned for a microchip. Oh man, What should they do? As the human ponders the chances of loosing their job for being late again they give your pup a collar scratch and whoa, what is this? A scanable bar code tag which takes them right to your info.
Meanwhile, just as you are posting pics of your lost dog your phone pings, there's a notice, Your dog's tag was scanned with a pin on a map showing you exactly where tag was scanned!
And then your phone rings, "Is your dog missing? I found him!"
And you and your dog are reunited!
